Marlies White was born and raised in the Netherlands. After finishing High School she started her goldsmiths journey at the Vakschool voor Edelsmeden. A college dedicated to teaching the traditional craft of goldsmithing and many other traditional jewellery crafts.
Marlies settled in the UK in 2010 and has slowly built her jewellery business since. She works from her studio on the east coast of Essex.
Marlies likes working in gold and silver with gemstones as a focal point. She likes clean lines and simple shapes. Subtle finishes with pops of colour from precious stones.
One of the collections is based on tulips which comes from inspiration of growing up surrounded by flower fields in the north west of the Netherlands.
